Podcasts are a great way to learn, open our minds and expand our knowledge. One of the beauties of podcasts is that you can listen to them anywhere– in the car, while working, cooking, studying and so on.

My obsession with podcasts started about two years ago, and has only continued to increase ever since. I’ve gone from listening to music during the strength training portion of my workouts to almost exclusively listening to podcasts.

Podcasts are a great way to learn, open our minds and expand our knowledge. One of the beauties of podcasts is that you can listen to them anywhere– in the car, while working out, cooking, studying and so on. They are the perfect tool for staying connected, learning and for personal growth.

If you’re seeking healthy living inspiration for your own wellness journey, here are  five health-related podcasts to uplift and encourage you! Whether you’re a novice in the wellness world or a seasoned pro, there’s definitely something for everyone to enjoy.

The Rich Roll Podcast

Rich Roll is a plant-based wellness advocate, bestselling author, ultra-endurance athlete, motivational speaker and all around amazing guy. My love affair with Rich Roll began about six years ago when I had the pleasure of attending a retreat where he was the main speaker. If you enjoy learning about all things wellness, including ‘true’ healthy eating, the mind body connection, veganism, ultra-endurance sports and training, then definitely listen to this podcast.

London Real with Brian Rose

I actually heard about this podcast via Rich Roll’s podcast. Brian Rose was a guest on Rich Roll’s podcast a little less than a year ago. London Real is an extremely informative podcast featuring a huge cross-section of people from MMA fighters, to highly successful entrepreneurs to thought leaders. Like Rich Roll, Brian Rose often ties in mind-body and spiritual connections in many of the interviews he conducts. He has a huge social conscience and always shares his personal success advice with his audience.

Tom Bilyeu’s Impact Theory

If Rich Roll’s podcast is my favourite, then Imapct Theory definitely comes in as a close second. Tom Bilyeu is a successful entrepreneur most noted for being one of the co-founders of Quest Nutrition. His belief system is based on the idea that human potential is limitless and that nothing new or difficult can ever be achieved if we let our current abilities determine what we can or cannot do. As such, his interviews tend to explore the mindsets of the world’s highest achievers to learn their secrets of success.

Mindvalley Podcast

Mindvalley is a phenomenal podcast started by successful entrepreneur Vishen Lakhiani. What I like most about this podcast is Vishen’s passion for servicing humanity. As a former meditation instructor he often weaves meditation techniques into his interviews . This podcast largely focuses on encouraging human transformation and aims to ‘bring it’s audience the greatest teachers and thought leaders on the planet to discuss the world’s most powerful ideas in personal growth for the mind, body, spirit and work’.

The Robin Sharma Mastery Sessions

Highly sought-after public speaker, best-selling author, leadership expert and entrepreneur, Robin Sharma is an impassioned philanthropist that uses his platform to help guide his audience towards personal mastery. What I love about this podcast is Robin’s ability to convey the idea that everything is this world relates back to humanity being in service of one another. He’s a powerful and charismatic speaker who’s mission is to help others strive to become their best selves.

All of these podcasts are available on multiple platforms including Youtube, ITunes, Instagram, FaceBook etc. Enjoy!
